The Original Tattoo Goo® in ointment form is the Natural Choice for healing your tattoo. Based with eight different natural ingredients, the “Original” is 97.5% natural. Tattoo Goo tins are available in four sizes: .75 ounce or 3/8 ounce tins or pillow packs and a 1.5 ounce.
Many report healing times cut in half, with the original Tattoo Goo Formula. Some as quickly as 3 days when applied as directed. The rich premium Olive Oil, Cocoa Butter and Wheat Germ Oil formula, along with vitamin–e and several herbs provide an occlusive humectant barrier which aids in healing. It won’t clog pores and enhances color of new and old tattoos a like. Tattoo Goo is also good for all kinds’ minor skin irritations such as scrapes, bruises, windburn and sunburn to name a few. Tattoo Goo has helped heal millions and million of tattoos to date by our count, maybe even more.
How to care for your new tattoo has been a subject of debate in the tattoo community for many years. Tattoo artists have had to recommend a variety of products available from your local drug store. These products were developed to prevent cuts, burns, scrapes and abrasions from getting infected and not for the healing of a new tattoo. The majority of these products contain petroleum or lanolin which when applied to a new tattoo can clog skin pores causing breakouts and actually delay your body’s healing process. Plus lanolin pulls color from healing tattoos. A large number of people also have allergic reactions to these products and application to a new tattoo can cause skin reactions leading to loss of ink and permanent damage to your tattoo. Tattoo Goo contains no petroleum and no lanolin.

WHAT IS TATTOO GOO?
Tattoo Goo is a combination of vitamins, herbs and other ingredients created especially to aid your body in the healing of a new tattoo. The majority of products currently used in treating new tattoos are designed to prevent infection in minor cuts, burns and scrapes, not for the purpose of healing a new tattoo.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TIN AND THE LOTION?
The tin is the “Original formula” and the Lotion is for people with sensative skin. Many people also enjoy using the lotion for after their tattoo heals. Keep in mind that a tattoo is a scar, and scars take up to one year to heal. Your tattoo may be healed on the outside but under your skin is still going through adjustments.
WHEN SHOULD I USE TATTOO GOO?
Tattoo Goo was developed for the immediate aftercare of a new tattoo. We suggest using Tattoo Goo 3-4 times daily until your new tattoo has healed. The healing process varies among individuals but normally this process will take 5-7 days.
CAN PEOPLE HAVE A REACTION WITH TATTOO GOO?
Some people are allergic to a variety of things, including the air we breath. Tattoo Goo is not based with petroleum or lanolin products and is not filled with artificial chemicals that cause allergic reactions in a number of people. Tattoo Goo’s ingredients are clearly labeled on the back of each tin. If your client has known allergies to any of the ingredients they should not apply it. If after using Tattoo Goo a reaction occurs, use should be discontinued.
SHOULD I SHARE MY OPENED TIN WITH OTHERS?
Absolutely not! To prevent contamination and infection, no aftercare product should ever be shared. In fact, when applying any product to a new tattoo we recommend washing your hands thoroughly with an antibacterial soap.
WILL TATTOO GOO PULL INK OUT?
The ingredients in Tattoo Goo do not draw ink or other impurities out of the skin. Tattoo Goo does not contain petroleum or lanolin which can clog the pores, leading to loss of ink or damage to a new tattoo. Tattoo Goo simply aids in the healing process with no reported loss of ink or discoloration.
IS THERE FRAGRANCE ADDED TO TATTOO GOO?
The scent is all natural, no fragrance has been added. Our product contains several natural herbs that give Tattoo Goo it’s pleasant scent.
WHY IS THE CONSISTENCY SO THICK?
This helps prevent people from applying too much Tattoo Goo to their new tattoo. A thin layer of Tattoo Goo is all that is needed to keep the tattoo from drying out during the healing process. A new tattoo needs to be kept moist but it also needs to breathe in order to heal properly. Applying thick layers of aftercare products to a new tattoo is a major cause of healing problems.
CAN TATTOO GOO BE USED FOR PIERCING CARE?
NO. Tattoos and piercings are completely different. Tattoo Goo was developed and tested for the purpose of treating a new tattoo. Use Tattoo Goo’s Xpressions and Tattoo Goo Soap for piercing care.
